Gambling in New Hampshire Redux The
following
results
are based on 600 completed
interviews (see methodology) among
a statewide random sample of registered voters in New
Hampshire. Of the 600 interviews,
182 were among registered Republicans, 165 were among registered Democrats, and 253
were among registered undeclared voters. The interviews were conducted April 23 through 26,
2013. The
theoretical margin of error for
the total sample of 600 is
plus or minus 4 percentage points,
95% of the time, on questions
where opinion is evenly split. Question wording and responses: There is a bill
in the New Hampshire legislature that would establish a gaming
commission and allow two casinos
to operate in New Hampshire. One casino would be able to operate
up to 160 table games and
3,500 slot machines and the second casino would be able to
operate up to 80 table games and
1,500 slot machines. Do you favor or oppose this bill?

Hampshire. Of the 600 interviews, 535 interviews were among
registered voters (166 Republicans, 156 Democrats, and 213
undeclared voters). The interviews were conducted March 18 through 21, 2013. The
theoretical margin of error for
the total sample of 600 is
plus or minus 4 percentage points,
95% of the time, on questions
where opinion is evenly split. The theoretical margin of error
for the sample of 535 registered voters is plus or minus 4.2 percentage points,
95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split. Question wording and responses:

registered voters (169 Republicans, 162 Democrats, and 232
undeclared voters). The interviews were conducted March 27 through 30, 2010. The
theoretical margin of error for
the total sample of 600 is
plus or minus 4 percentage points,
95% of the time, on questions
where opinion is evenly split. The theoretical margin of error
for the sample of 563 registered voters is plus or minus 4.1 percentage points,
95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
