Gingrich leads Romney 44% to 26% among Republicans, followed by Santorum with 19% and Paul with 7%. Among independents, Gingrich leads with 45%, followed by Romney with 18%, Santorum with 17%, and Paul with 15%.

Gingrich leads Romney 50% to 29% among likely Republican primary voters saying they have already voted, followed by Santorum with 15% and Paul with 6%. Gingrich leads Romney 43% to 24% among likely Republican primary voters saying they will vote on March 6, followed by Santorum with 19% and Paul with 9%.

Gingrich leads with 53% among likely Republican primary voters saying they are supporters of the Tea Party, followed by Santorum with 24%, Romney with 14%, and Paul with 3%. Among likely primary voters saying they are not supporters of the Tea Party or are undecided about the Tea Party, Gingrich leads with 36%, followed by Romney with 33%, and Paul and Santorum with 14% each.

Gingrich leads Romney 47% to 21% among men, followed by Santorum with 19% and Paul with 10%. Gingrich leads Romney 41% to 28% among women, followed by Santorum with 18% and Paul with 7%.

Sample Size: 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Republican primary voters living in Georgia (470 self-identified Republicans, 101 self-identified independents, and 29 self-identified Democrats).

Sample Dates: March 3-5, 2012

Margin of Error: ± 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split. An "*" in the tables indicates responses of less than 1/2 of 1 percent.
